BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College Department of Athletics and Recreation will host a series of Blue & Grey intrasquad scrimmages from October 8-11 with all of the events being streamed live for the public to watch.
External guests, including family members and alumni, are not permitted to attend the contests in-person but are encouraged to watch the events live on the Greyhound Sports Network at www.landmarknetwork.tv/moravian.
Moravian College students, faculty and staff are permitted to watch outdoor scrimmages live but are required to follow all CDC and institutional guidelines, including social distancing, wearing masks and the completion of the Moravian College daily Covid-19 screen.
The schedule for the first session Blue & Grey scrimmages is:
- Thursday, October 8 – Women's Volleyball at 6:00 p.m. (no fans permitted, including students/faculty/staff; match will be four sets with players switching teams between each set) - Program
- Friday, October 9 – Men's & Women's Cross Country at 6:00 p.m. (a coed sprint medley relay)
- Saturday, October 10 – Women's Lacrosse at 10:00 a.m. - Program
- Saturday, October 10 – Men's & Women's Tennis at 10:30 a.m. (coed singles and doubles matches) - Program
- Saturday, October 10 – Men's Lacrosse at 12:30 p.m. (running clock will be used in 4th quarter) - Program
- Sunday, October 11 – Baseball at 11:00 a.m. - Program
Moravian's student-athletes on the track & field teams will be hosting an intrasquad Blue & Grey meet later this fall academic semester while the golf team is working on a date for an intrasquad nine-hole outing.
The Greyhounds' remaining teams of men's and women's basketball, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer and softball will begin their sessions on October 14 and run through November 24. Blue & Grey scrimmages for those teams will be announced when they become available.
