BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College Department of Athletics & Recreation will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Wednesday, February 3 with pictures and quotes from female members of the staff on the Greyhounds' social media channels throughout the day.
This year marks the 35th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day coordinated by the Women's Sports Foundation. (https://www.womenssportsfoundation.org/get-involved/ngwsd/). Moravian usually holds a youth clinic for NGWSD but is unable to this year due to COVID-19.
The Greyhounds will have statements from Director of Athletics/Head Women's Basketball Coach Mary Beth Spirk, Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator Renee Hellert, Coordinator of Athletic Training Services/Head Athletic Trainer Sarah Coelho, Athletics Communications Assistant Nicole Palmasano, Head Women's Volleyball Coach Shelley Bauder and Head Field Hockey Coach Sarah Dalyrmple.
