TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior quarterback Jared Jenkins has repeated as the Landmark Conference Football Offensive Athlete of the Week for a second straight week for his performance last week.

Jenkins completed 33-of-50 passes, both career highs, for 264 yards with five touchdowns to tie Christopher Mills single game school record and a pair of interceptions in the Greyhounds' 36-28 Landmark Conference win at The Catholic University of America. Jenkins tossed TD passes of 3, 5, 9, 1 and 21 yards and a pair of two-point conversions, and he also ran for 48 yards on nine carries while being sacked once. Jenkins became the 16th player in Moravian history to reach 2,000 career passing yards, now with 2,210 yards in nine games.

"Jared continues to prepare and seize his opportunities each week," stated Head Coach Jeff Long. "The offense is able to thrive and build off this each week due to his consistent work ethic!"

The Greyhounds, who are 3-3 overall and 2-0 in Landmark Conference action, are on their bye this week and scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 21 with a Landmark Conference game at Juniata College kicking off at noon in Huntingdon.
