BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is joining with more than 440 schools across the country in celebration of NCAA Division III Week, which officially runs from Monday, April 1 through Sunday, April 7.

This 13th annual event will celebrate student-athletes' academic achievements and athletic accomplishments, in addition to their campus leadership and their involvement in community service.

Approximately 24 percent of Moravian's student body competes on one of Moravian's 23 intercollegiate athletic teams. During the past fall semester, 202 of the Greyhounds' student-athletes achieved Dean's Honors List accolades from Moravian with a 3.50 GPA or higher, accounting for over 43 percent of Moravian's total student-athletes and nearly 25 percent of the overall Dean's Honors List from the University.

Moravian will have several student-athletes that will tell why they chose Moravian University and what they like about competing at Division III. Those graphics will be posted to the Greyhounds' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/moravianuniversitysaac/) and Athletics Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/moravianathletics/) accounts throughout the week. The Blue & Grey will also post interviews with Moravian University President Bryon L. Grigsby '90 and Director of Athletics & Recreation/Head Women's Basketball Coach Mary Beth Spirk during the week as well as an interview with a student-athlete and following a Division III athlete for a day.

The Hounds will take over the Landmark Conference Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/landmark_conf/) on Thursday, April 4. The Greyhounds plan to have a Pie a Coach event on Thursday in conjunction with the Landmark takeover.
