BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Graduate student Tim King from the Moravian University men's outdoor track & Field squad has been honored as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for his performance last week.
King won three events at the DeSales University Tri-Meet on Saturday. King broke the school and Landmark Conference records and won the discus with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying toss of 46.65 meters (153-0). He also captured first in the hammer throw with a PR and AARTFC qualifying distance of 49.78 meters (163-4), the third best throw in program history, and King won the shot put with a toss of 14.28 meters (46-10.25).
The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
