BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Sophomore jumper Ali Haefele of the Moravian University women's indoor track & field team has been honored as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.
Haefele posted three lifetime personal best marks and a pair of All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying results at the Franklin & Marshall College Blue & White Invitational. Haefele was the runner-up in the triple jump with an AARTFC qualifying distance and PR mark of 10.96 meters (35-11.5). She was third in the high jump with an AARTFC qualifying height 1.57 meters (5-1.75), setting a new PR in the event, and Haefele finished fourth in the long jump with a lifetime PR leap of 5.11 meters (16-9.25).
The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
