BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior forward Sam Osorio from the Moravian University women's basketball squad has been named as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.
Osorio had a pair of double-doubles and averaged 13.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Greyhounds. Osorio shot 7-for-19 from the field and 13-of-18 at the foul line to go along with three blocked shots and a pair of assists while playing 67 minutes over the two contests. She began the week with 12 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots in a 66-60 loss at Wilkes University, and Osorio had 15 points and 13 boards while hitting the winning shot on an offensive rebound with 34 seconds remaining in the Hounds' 58-57 victory versus Susquehanna University.
