BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Junior attack Jackie Salvatore of the Moravian University women's lacrosse team has been selected as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.
Salvatore led the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week with eight goals including an overtime winner and nine assists to go with 15 draw controls in the two contests. Salvatore had four goals, three assists and eight draw controls in an 18-17 overtime victory at FDU-Florham as she scored the winning goal just 41 seconds into overtime. Salvatore added four goals, six assists and seven draw controls in a 23-2 win at Wilkes University to begin the Landmark Conference season. Salvatore's third goal of the match was the 100th of her career.
The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
