Snyder Selected as Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Junior outfielder Sage Snyder from the Moravian University softball squad has been selected the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.

Snyder hit .471 during a 5-1 week for the Greyhounds including the squad clinching the top seed in the 2024 Landmark Conference Tournament. Snyder was 8-for-17 during the six games to go with eight runs, a double, two homers (both caught by members of the Greyhound Sports Network broadcast crew) and five RBIs, and she also had an .882 slugging percentage and a .524 on-base percentage with a pair of walks and hit by a pitch. Snyder added a pair of stolen bases, and she contributed nine putouts in ten chances in the field. She had two hits, two runs, a homer and two RBIs in a sweep of Arcadia University, and Snyder added a hit and two runs at Franklin & Marshall College. She finished the week with a 5-for-7 day with four runs, a double, a homer and three RBIs in a sweep of The University of Scranton to earn the top seed.

The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
