Greyhounds Blank Susquehanna in Landmark Conference Action to Remain Undefeated

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis recorded a 9-0 victory at Susquehanna University in a Landmark Conference match on the road Sunday afternoon. 

How It Happened

  • The Hounds won all three doubles matches. Seniors Brooke Adams and Kristen Cassidy were the first duo off the courts with an 8-0 triumph at second doubles while sophomores Julianne Cassady and Cristina Merone finished next with an 8-1 win at third doubles. Seniors Emma Angle and Mary Angle completed the sweep with an 8-4 victory at first doubles
  • Adams was the first to finish in singles as well with a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles while Mary Angle had the clinching team point with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at second singles. Emma Angle finished next with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph at first singles while Cassidy won 6-0, 6-1 at fifth singles. Sophomore Maddie Figiel posted a 6-2, 6-1 victory at sixth singles for the Greyhounds while Cassady earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at fourth singles to finish off the sweep
