Lizzie Lustig, Women's Basketball - Sodexo

Junior guard Lizzie Lustig of the Moravian University’s women’s basketball squad has been selected the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance during the week of January 12-18.

Lustig averaged 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for Moravian as the Greyhounds stretched their Landmark Conference winning streak to three contests. Lustig shot 12-of-19 from the field, 2-for-4 on three-pointers and 5-for-6 at the free throws, and she added six steals, five assists and three blocked shots in 64 minutes of action. Lustig had 13 points, three rebounds, five steals, two assists and two blocked shots in a 68-57 win over Goucher College, and she added her second double-double of the season and fifth of her career with 18 points and ten rebounds to go with three assists in a 74-52 victory versus Juniata College.

The Greyhounds is slated to return to the court on Wednesday, January 21 in a Landmark Conference game at Drew University tipping off at 7:00 p.m.

The Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week is selected on Mondays by Moravian’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Sodexo will be giving each week’s winner a free Starbucks drink at DeLight’s Café.
