Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society

Moravian University joined Chi Alpha Sigma as the Pennsylvania Alpha Eta Chapter during the 2017-18 academic year. Chi Alpha Sigma is the first national scholar-athlete society to honor collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in both the classroom and in athletic competition. Greyhounds who have a cumulative grade point average over a 3.4 after the fall of their junior year are inducted into the honor society and both seniors and juniors who maintain a cumulative 3.4 grade point average are honored yearly by the Athletic Department.

Chi Alpha Sigma is the first and only nonprofit organization that was established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. Founded in 1996 by then DePauw University head football coach, Nick Mourouzis, Chi Alpha Sigma continues to provide outstanding student-athletes with an opportunity to become connected within a fraternal association that aligns their educational and athletic successes for a lifetime.  For more information check out their website at www.chialphasigma.org.
