Football/Baseball Locker Room Project

Nick Zambelli Headshot "The current set up in the locker room doesn't provide that at-home feeling that great teams thrive on in the locker room. A new setup would really take our team to the next level in providing a space where players want to hangout, build bonds, and spend time together. It should be place where everyone wants to be, not just a place to store equipment."

Rhett Jacoby "The current locker room takes away from
the unity that our team should have and the close knit connection. Being able to walk out of that locker room and right to the field, knowing that everyone is with you and together as one big family, is a huge advantage."

Football and Baseball Teams

The Greyhounds are proud to announce a fundraising campaign to completely renovate the Football and Baseball teams’ locker rooms in the field house on the Steel Athletic Complex.

We have set a goal of raising $150,000 towards this project and are proud to report that we have already received a $50,000 gift from the Blue & Grey Club. We are now looking to alumni, parents, and friends to finish this project with gifts and pledges totaling $100,000.

“Loyalty from our proud Greyhound supporters will help us recreate our Football / Baseball Field House into a first-class facility that our student athletes will be excited to
call their “Team Home.” They say “Tradition Never Graduates,” and I know we have great tradition that carries through decades and decades of members of the Greyhound
Football Family.” – Jeff Pukszyn '97, Head Football Coach

A new state of the art locker room, with a players’ lounge will help us show our current
student-athletes that we are investing in them, as well as help us recruit top prospective student-athletes to continue our tradition of excellence.

With your support, will we be able to connect you to our current and future Greyhound Football and Baseball athletes.

“The new locker room is another great step toward having the best facilities for student-athletes here at Moravian. Our kids will have the best, and this affords us better recruiting tools versus most other schools. This is a great opportunity for you to continue to be a part of your team.” – Paul Engelhardt, Head Baseball Coach

Locker Sponsorship:

Locker Gift: The locker room will feature 100 varsity-length lockers.  You are invited to become a locker sponsor with a contribution of $500. We will recognize your generosity by engraving the name of your choice on a brass plaque and mounting it on each locker you sponsor. This is a great way to recognize a current student, honor a classmate or a loved one.

Locker & Team Lounge Gift:
Donations of $1,000+ will provide a locker and will also be used for a new student-athlete lounge. The lounge will include flat screen televisions, furnishings and other features. Donors who contribute over $1,000 will be recognized both on a locker and on a plaque in the locker room facility. This is also great way to recognize a current student, honor a classmate or a loved one.
