Darryl Keckler enters his second season with the Greyhounds after 14 years as Head Coach at Landmark Conference foe, Drew University. The Greyhounds finished Keckler’s first season with a record of 8-17 and 5-9 in Landmark Conference action.

While at Drew University,  Keckler had posted 167 victories, won the 2021 Landmark Conference Championship and was a two-time Landmark Conference Coach of the Year. Keckler led the Rangers to the Landmark Conference Tournament seven times and had a dozen student-athletes earn Landmark All-Conference honors in addition to a Landmark Conference Player of the Year, a Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year and a two-time Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year. 

In addition to his time coaching at Drew, Keckler has spent the last five years working as an assistant athletic director for the Rangers as well as teaching a business of sports class as an adjunct professor for the last four years. Prior to his time at Drew, Keckler spent five years as an assistant coach for both men’s basketball and men’s golf at Gettysburg College, and he also assisted with the Bullets’ strength and conditioning program.

Keckler graduated from Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University in 2003 with a degree in sports management, and he scored over 1,250 points in his career and was a two-time All-TranSouth Athletic Conference selection. He earned a master’s degree in exercise science and physical education from McDaniel College. Keckler resides in Easton with his wife Alexa, who is the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Lehigh University, and their four children.
