The Moravian College golf team opened its 2011-12 season by winning a tri-match hosted by Albright College at the par 71 Berkshire Country Club. The Greyhounds had a team score of 304 while the host Lions fired a 310 and Alvernia Unviersity had a 339.
Junior Thomas Fenyak led Moravian with a two-over par 73 to begin the season while senior John Dimler and freshman Mark Saeger each fired rounds of 76. Senior Scott Stires had an 18-hole total of 79 for the Greyhounds while junior Aaron Thieme had an 81. Senior Sam Stired fired an 84 for Moravian while freshman Scott Nevenglosky had a 105 in his first collegiate event.Moravian Individuals – Par 71 course
