Nick Guerriero Named to 2011 Fall All-Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team

Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior center Nick Guerriero (New Providence, NJ/New Providence) of the Moravian College football team has been named to the 2011 Fall All-Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team.

The Centennial Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee established the All-Sportsmanship Team in 2007. Each team elected one member from their team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-Centennial Sportsmanship Team.

This fall, Guerriero played in and started all ten games for the Greyhounds at the center position on the offensive line. He was part of an offense that was fifth best in the Conference in red-zone offense, scoring 70.6 percent of the time. Guerriero also helped Moravian to 1,019 rushing yards, 1,125 passing yards and 125 first downs on the season.

The Greyhounds other All-Centennial Sportsmanship honorees are Alex Hersch in 2010, Ryan Rempe in 2009 and Carl Robinson in 2008 and 2007.
