In his career, Petros, a starter at defensive end, set the school record with 63 and a half tackles for loss to go with 191 tackles, 28 sacks, which is second in school history, five passes defended, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Petros, who was in Salem last Friday night to play on the North Team in the D3 Senior Classic in which he recorded four tackles with two sack, was also named to the 2009 and 2010 Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, and he was a finalist for Capital One Academic All-America honors for a second consecutive year.
