STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf squad is tied for sixth of 18 teams after the opening round of the Pennsylvania Classic hosted by Penn State Altoona Friday.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds are tied with Penn College after a four-man score of 315 on the Penn State White Course
- Allegheny College has the lead after the opening round with a 289
Moravian Results
- Junior TJ Bohl is tied for ninth of the 103 golfers with a two-over par round of 74 to begin the tournament Bohl carded a pair of birdies and 11 pars
- Sophomore Robbie McNelly is tied for 41st with an 80 in the opening round that included 12 pars
- Senior Eric Gilbert also shot an 80 on Friday to be part of the tie for 41st. Gilbert recorded a birdie and eight pars
- Junior Jacob Donmoyer is tied for 48th with an 81 that included a birdie and eight pars
- Junior Sam Bingaman also carded an 81 in the opening round with two birdies and six pars to tie for 48th
- Freshman Ehren Weyman is playing as an individual, and he is tied for 62nd with an 83 that included nine pars
