Greyhounds Capture First at Muhlenberg Invitational as Bohl Wins Medalist on a Playoff Hole

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf team placed first of eight teams in the Muhlenberg College Spring Invitational played at the Lehigh Country Club Monday.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds carded a team score of 305 to finish nine strokes ahead Dickinson College
  • The tournament was the final competition before the Landmark Conference Championships this weekend 

Moravian Results

  • Junior TJ Bohl won medalist honors among the 43 golfers with a four-over par round of 74, and he needed a playoff hole for the title, sinking a par putt on the 17th hole for the victory. Bohl carded two birdies and 11 pars in his round
  • Sophomore Robbie McNelly finished third with a 76 that included a birdie and 11 pars
  • Junior Sam Bingaman was tied for fourth with a round of 77 with a birdie and nine pars
  • Junior Jason Koch finished in a tie for ninth at 78, and he had two birdies and eight pars
  • Senior Eric Gilbert was tied for 28th with 87 that included a birdie and two pars
