Lambert and Eady Tabbed as 2015-16 Women's Tennis Captains

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team has named senior Courtnie Lambert and junior Brittney Eady as the 2015-16 captains.

Lambert has posted a career record of 32-20 in singles play while posting a 20-13 slate in doubles play. Last season, Lambert was named to the Landmark Conference All-Sportsmanship team as well as the Landmark Conference Spring Honor Roll.

Eady has tallied a 27-10 singles record while keeping a 25-13 doubles mark. Last season, Eady was named to the Landmark Conference All-Conference First Team Singles. During her freshman year, Eady was tabbed as the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year as well as made All-Conference First Team Singles and Second Team Doubles.

"Courtnie and Brittney are both consistent performers who lead by example," stated first year Head Coach Alan Heverly '96. "Courtnie performs well in matches and demonstrates the qualities necessary to be a complete athlete. She works hard at what she does whether it is practice, match play or physical conditioning. Brittney plays tennis well. Her abilities on the court show she has worked on her skills for a long time and is a very capable number one player. Her demonstration of her skills inspires her teammates to work hard to enhance their own abilities."

The Greyhounds, who were 2-0 last fall in non-conference action, will kick off the spring portion of the schedule on Wednesday, March 2 when the team head over to rival Muhlenberg College at 5:00 p.m.
