ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team dropped the final match of its Spring Break trip to Orlando, falling to Messiah College, 6-3, in non-conference action Wednesday morning.
The Greyhounds, 4-3 on the season, trailed 2-1 after the doubles action with the team of junior Aisling Doyle and sophomore Skylar Oliwa earning an 8-6 victory at third doubles.
Moravian won a pair of singles contests as well with junior Brittney Eady capturing a 6-2, 6-4 win at first singles and sophomore Grace Bailly posting a 6-1, 6-3 triumph at sixth singles. Senior Courtnie Lambert forced a third set in her third singles contest before falling in a tiebreaker.
The Hounds are slated to return to action on Wednesday, March 16 when the squad will host NCAA Division I Lafayette College in a non-conference match beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Hoffman Courts for Moravian's first home match of the spring.
