Hounds Sweep Goucher for 2nd Straight Landmark Conference Win

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team posted a 9-0 sweep of Goucher College in Landmark Conference action Saturday afternoon at Hoffman Courts as the Greyhounds posted their second straight conference victory.

The Blue and Grey, now 6-4 overall and 2-1 in Landmark Conference action, opened up a 3-0 lead in the doubles action. Junior Brittney Eady and sophomore Skylar Oliwa earned an 8-6 win at first doubles while juniors Aisling Doyle and Roberta Scantlebury posted an 8-3 victory at second doubles. Moravian's third doubles tandem of sophomore Caitlin Adams and senior Courtnie Lambert recorded an 8-2 victory as the first duo off of the courts.

The Hounds would win all six singles matches in straight sets as Eady won at first singles, Oliwa in the second spot, Lambert at third singles, Adams in fourth, Doyle in fifth and sophomore Grace Bailly at sixth singles.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 16 when Moravian travels to Susquehanna University for a Landmark Conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m.
