Spirk Selected as One of NACDA 2024-25 Athletics Director of the Year Award Winners
Moravian University Director of Athletics & Recreation and Head Women's Basketball Coach Mary Beth Spirk was selected as one of the 28 winners of the 2024-25 National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics AD of the Year Award. Spirk was honored on Tuesday, June 10 at the 60th Annual NACDA & Affiliates Convention at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Fla. Spirk arrived at Moravian, then College, in October 1981 shortly after her graduation from Dickinson College as an assistant women's basketball coach, and she is now in her fifth decade as at the school that has seen her win nearly 650 games as Head Women's Basketball Coach in 37 seasons as well as serve as Director of Athletics & Recreation since June of 2017. Spirk's tenure at Moravian has also seen her serve as an assistant softball coach, head softball coach, associate professor of physical education, assistant athletics director beginning in 2001 and moving to associate athletics director and Senior Woman Administrator in 2011.

Women's Basketball Leads NCAA Division III in Play4Kay Fundraising for 17th Consecutive Year
The Greyhounds were named as the NCAA Division III winner of the 2025 Kay Yow Cancer Fund Play4Kay fundraiser with $20,302 raised in 2025, the 17th straight year that the Greyhounds have led NCAA Division III schools in Play4Kay. The program has raised a total of $253,420 donated to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund over the last 17 years. Moravian's overall total this year includes $1,100 donated to the program from fellow Landmark Conference school Susquehanna University as the River Hawks and Head Coach Gabby Holko raised money this year in honor of Coach Spirk, who sat out the 2024-25 season while battling cancer. At Moravian's annual Play4Kay Day in February, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund also donated $50,000 in Spirk's name to St. Luke's Hospital's Cancer Center to the fight against cancer.

Jordan Bingham Invited to Indianapolis Colts Mini Camp
Graduate student wide receiver Jordan Bingham received an invitation to participate in the Indianapolis Colts' Rookie Mini Camp in Indianapolis this past May. Bingham earned a spot on the 2024 D3football.com All-Region 2 Third Team and was selected to the Landmark All-Conference First Team last fall for the second straight year in 2024 after he broke his own school record for receptions in a season with 75 this past season. Bingham added 887 yards, and a school record 12 touchdown catches in 2024.

Greyhounds Set Six Landmark Conference Records During 2024-25
The Greyhounds had five student-athletes break Landmark Conference records during the 2024-25 academic year.
- Senior attack Jackie Salvatore set the women's lacrosse conference records for career assists with 201 and career points with 379
- Graduate student attack Trevor Dzama finished his career with a men's lacrosse conference record of 168 career assists
- Junior catcher Marcie Silberman set the conference softball record for career home runs with 38 heading into 2025-26
- Graduate student Cole Stanchina broke the conference men's outdoor track record in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 30:29.69 at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic
- Junior Margie Rayne set the conference women's outfield field mark in the discus with a toss of 44.06 meters (144-6) to win the 2025 Landmark Conference title in the event
