Bracken & Sinnig Play in First Globe Bowl; Brusko Part of Coaching Staff

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian senior football players Kevin Bracken and Ricky Sinnig both participated in this past weekend's first annual Globe Bowl, which took place at Salisbury High School in Allentown.

The game, which was presented by East Preps LLC, recognized NCAA FCS, Division II and Division III all-stars from around the country. Bracken, a linebacker, and Sinnig, a safety, both played for the Red team that was coached by Bethlehem Catholic grad James Parham. Scouts also attended the weekend from the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League, the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, Trenton Freedom, ASI Panthers and York Capitals.

The weekend kicked off on Friday, April 10th with a National Pro Day Combine at Game Time Fieldhouse in Breinigsville. Sinnig clocked the fifth fastest 40-yard dash time with a 4.47 and was also a top ten performer in the short shuttle with a time of 4.31 seconds. Bracken was solid across the board, most notably on the 225-pound bench press test where he racked up 21 reps.

The culmination of the weekend came on Sunday, April 12th with a 10:30 a.m. kickoff. Both Bracken and Sinnig were starters on the Red side and played significant roles on the defensive side of the ball. Sinnig reflected on the last game of his college career: "Participating in the Globe Bowl was a great experience, and one that I am thankful for. It allowed me the chance to show my skills against a lot of great athletes from all over the country. It was also a blessing to be able to play with a fellow college teammate and under one of my college coaches one last time. This is definitely an experience I will remember."

Moravian Wide Receivers Coach Mike Brusko was also involved in the Globe Bowl serving as the Offensive Coordinator for the Red team.
