ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team began its four-match Spring Break trip to Orlando with a tough 8-1 loss to Ohio Northern University Sunday.
While the Polar Bears swept the three doubles matches to start the contest, Ohio Northern needed an extra game at first doubles as Moravian sophomores Matt Tuorto and John Wylie served for match point before falling, 9-7.
The Greyhounds picked up a point at fifth singles while freshman Mike Antonis earned a 6-2, 6-3 victory. Both Tuorto and Wylie forced a seventh game in one set of their singles matches as did freshman Dan Schmucker at sixth singles.
Moravian will be right back on the courts on Monday, March 3 when they play Eastern University at 10:00 a.m.
