Men's Cross Country Runs at Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble

OBERLIN, Ohio --- The Moravian College men's cross country squad competed in Ohio Saturday at the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble finishing 22nd in the 32-team race with 571 points.

Freshman Gavin Kemery turned in the top time and season best time of 26:31.8 for the Greyhounds to finish in 85th of 275 runners on the 8,000-meter course. Freshman Connor Irwin ran a season best time of 26:48.9 while freshman Gregory Jaindl had a season low mark of 26:52.1. Sophomore Devon Harris ran a career best time of 27:06.6 while freshman Justin Beasley-Turner finished in 27:41.0.

Moravian had five other runners in the meet with sophomore Peter Milewski running 27:43.9, freshman Anthony Donatelli clocking a season-best time of 28:39.7, senior Andrew Mitchell turning in a season-low time of 28:57.4, freshman Alex Tursi running a season best time of 28:58.8, and sophomore Aaron Hofmann clocking in with a career best 29:11.9.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 29 when the team hosts the 2016 Landmark Conference Championships at Bicentennial Park in East Allen Township on the border of Northampton and Bethlehem.
