Hounds Place 7th in White 8K at Paul Short Run Hosted by Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's  cross country squad participated in the annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on the Goodman Campus in South Bethlehem Friday.

The Hounds were seventh of 36 schools in the Men's White 8K with a team score of 249. Sophomore Gregory Jaindl turned in the Greyhounds top time and career-best showing of 26:13 on the 8,000-meter course as he finished 11th of the 283 runners in the race. Junior Devon Harris placed 22nd in a career-best time of 26:31 while sophomore Gavin Kemery was 31st in the race in 26:43. Freshman Peter Gingrich posted a time of 27:33 while junior Peter Milewski finished in 27:50 to round out Moravian's scoring top five. Freshman Franklin Musnuff recorded a time of 28:12 while sophomore Justin Beasley-Turner ran 28:45, freshman Jarred Kyra finished in 28:50 and junior Aaron Hofmann posted a time of 29:25.

Moravian also had four competitors in the Men's Open 8K during the morning session with freshman Billy Milburn running a time of 28:59, sophomore Devon Fogel finishing in 29:14, sophomore Alex Tursi recording a time of 29:17 and senior Josh Toth running a time of 29:53.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 14 when the team heads to the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Rowan (N.J.) University.
