NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Moravian College men and women's cross country teams are ranked for the third straight week in the NCAA Division III regional rankings released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The women moved up to ninth from ten while the men stayed at ten in the Mideast Region.

The men and women's team recently won the Landmark Conference Championship on October 29th. It was the first conference title for the women since 2002, and the first for the men since 1998.

The women are led by senior Cadee Rockwell (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson West Lawn) who won the Landmark Conference Championship meet. She finished the cold, snowy 6K race in 24:12 to win by 26 seconds. Her best time in the 6K this year is 22:04.70 at the Lafeyette College Leopard Invitational.

Senior Matthew Lutzca (Dingmans Ferry, PA/Delaware Valley) leads the men's squad. He took second place at Landmark Conference Championship meet with a time of 24:24.80. The race was cut short by about 600 meters due to a fallen tree. His best time in the 8K this year is 25:27, which he ran at the Paul Short Meet.

The Greyhounds run again on Saturday, November 12th when they head to the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship at DeSales University. The race is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
