BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Moravian College men's basketball 2013-14 schedule tips off at the Johns Hopkins Tournament on Nov. 15-16 in Baltimore.

The Greyhounds and 34th year Head Coach Jim Walker will take on host Johns Hopkins on Friday, Nov. 15 before facing either Wesley College or Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.) College on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Moravian returns to Bethlehem in grand fashion for its 2013-14 home opener against rival Muhlenberg College in the annual Matte Award game at Johnston Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Other non-conference action includes trips to Lebanon Valley College on Nov. 23, DeSales University on Nov. 26, Rutgers University-Newark on Dec. 10 and Rutgers University-Camden on Jan. 13, and home games against Berkeley (N.J) College on Dec. 1 and Haverford College on Feb. 10.

The Dec. 1 contest with Berkeley is the program's annual Family Day at Johnston Hall.

The Greyhounds open their Landmark Conference schedule on the road at Juniata College on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. before beginning their home conference slate on Sunday, Dec. 15 against The United States Merchant Marine Academy at 2 p.m.

Moravian kicks off the New Year in Johnston Hall as host of the 36th Annual Greyhound Classic on Jan. 3-4. The Greyhounds battle Penn State University-Lehigh Valley on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 5:30 p.m. and either John Jay (N.Y.) College or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Sunday, Jan. 4.

The Greyhounds will take on Goucher College on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. at Johnston Hall in a Landmark Conference contest, which is preceded by the annual Alumni Game at noon.

Walker's squad faces a tough end-of-season test as four of its final six conference games are played away from Bethlehem. Moravian wraps up its regular season on Senior Day at Johnston Hall on Feb. 22, when The Catholic University of America comes to town for a 2 p.m. game.

When the Landmark Conference Tournament tips off on Feb. 26, the Greyhounds will be seeking to return to the postseason conference bracket after missing the tournament last season. Moravian finished with a 14-12 overall record in the 2012-13 season, which ended in the ECAC Division III South Quarterfinals with a loss to DeSales.
