170 Greyhounds Earn Dean's List Honors for Spring 2019 Semester

Moravian Honors Senior Student-Athletes at Annual Awards Banquet in Johnston Hall
May 08, 2019BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College honored its 2019 senior student-athletes at the annual Senior Athletics Awards Banquet Wednesday night in Johnston Hall. Softball standout Kat Spilman was named the Outstanding Senior Female Athletes while men’s basketball player Oneil Holder was honored with the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award. The Blue & Grey Scholar Athlete awards were presented to women’s soccer student-athlete Paige Kovacs and football player Nick Zambelli. The H.T.D. Gillespie Award for outstanding service to Moravian’s athletics program was presented to Terry Eddinger and Marty Jo Moyle.

March 01, 2019CLINTON, N.Y. --- The Moravian College men’s basketball team used an 18-0 run early in the second half to break open a close game and earn an 86-65 victory over Keene State (N.H.) College in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament at Hamilton College Friday evening as the Greyhounds won for the first time in program history in the NCAA Tournament and tied the school record with their 20th win of the season, matching the total from last winter.
