Oneil Holder named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Moravian College senior forward Oneil Holder has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware for his performance last week.

Holder helped Moravian to its second straight Landmark Conference Championship and was selected as the Landmark Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player after averaging 24.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in two games. He connected on 19-of-30 field goal attempts and 11-of-15 free throws in the two games while averaging 29.5 minutes per contest. Holder had 24 points, nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and a pair of blocked shots in a 91-73 victory over third seed Susquehanna University in the Semifinals. He then had 25 points, nine boards, four assists and two blocked shots in the Hounds 86-72 win at top seed Drew University to claim an automatic berth to the 2019 NCAA DIII Tournament.

"O has been tremendous all year and really raised his level during the playoffs" noted Head Coach Justin Potts. "His leadership efficiency and play at both ends were very instrumental in our success last week. We were able to use his versatility to our advantage all week. O's ability to make plays for himself and his teammates really showed Sunday afternoon. Congrats to him in a well-deserved honor."

Moravian will return to action on Friday, March 1 in the opening round of the 2019 NCAA Division III Tournament when the Greyhounds take on Keene State (N.H.) College in the First Round with top-off set for 5:30 p.m. at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.
