Oneil Holder named to NABC All-Middle Atlantic District Second Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- Moravian College senior forward Oneil Holder has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2019 All-Middle Atlantic District Second Team.

Holder is just the fourth Greyhound to earn NABC honors in program history and first since Brandon Zaleski '05 made the First Team in 2003. Neil Fromm '90 was selected to the First Team in both 1989 and 1990 while Bernie Ivin '88 made the First Team as a senior.

"Congrats to O on another well-deserved post season award," commented Head Coach Justin Potts. "His season and career were very special and that is evident by being the first player selected for NABC All-District at Moravian since Brandon Zaleski in 2003. It is great to see his hard work rewarded. O knows that individual awards come from team success and his play and leadership were instrumental during our season. It is great for him and the program to be recognized. Congrats again O.

Holder continues to add to a list of postseason awards that has also seen him selected to the Landmark All-Conference First Team, the D3hoops.com All-Middle Atlantic Region Second Team and the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Team of the Year. Holder topped the Greyhounds with averages of 18.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, and he also had 78 assists, 48 steals, 31 blocked shots and 28 three-pointers this winter.

Holder completed his career as the Greyhounds' third leading scorer with 1,660 points, and he is also sixth in program history with 714 rebounds. He played in a school record 110 games and is third all-time with 113 blocked shots. Holder, who was also the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year in 2016, set a school record with 1439 made free throws in 2018-19, and he attempted a school record 604 free throws during his four seasons at Moravian.
