Moravian Men Open 2018-19 Schedule in Johnston Hall on November 8

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's basketball squad is scheduled to start its 2018-19 slate of 25 contests on Thursday, November 8 when the Greyhounds host Johns Hopkins University in a non-conference game tipping off at 7:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.

The Greyhounds, who won the program's first Landmark Conference title and played in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the third time while setting a school record with 20 victories , are under the direction of fourth-year Head Coach Justin Potts. Moravian finishes November with road trips to William Paterson (N.J.) University on November 13 and the Ollie Gelston Classic at Montclair State University games against the City College of New York on November 16 and Penn College on November 17 before the annual Tuesday before Thanksgiving game with DeSales University on November 20 in Johnston Hall.

The Blue and Grey have seven games in December beginning with the 2018-19 Landmark Conference opener on December 1 versus Elizabethtown College also in Johnston Hall. Moravian makes a trip to Immaculata University on December 5 before hosting Marywood University on December 8. After a week break for finals, the Hounds will travel to rival Muhlenberg College on December 15 and Yeshiva (N.Y.) University on December 19 before another 11 day break. The Hounds return to Johnston Hall for the Roosevelt's 21st Greyhound Classic on December 30 and 31 with games against perennial national powers Virginia Wesleyan University and Williams (Mass.) College.

Once the schedule flips to 2019, Moravian plays its final 13 Landmark Conference games beginning with a trip to The Catholic University of America on January 5. The Hounds will host The University of Scranton on January 9 and Juniata College on January 12 before heading to Drew University on January 16 and Goucher College on January 19. Moravian finished January with its longest home stretch of the season as the Greyhounds welcome Susquehanna University to Johnston Hall on January 23, Catholic on January 26 and Drew on January 30.

The Blue and Grey will be home just once in five games scheduled for February. The squad started on the road with trips to Juniata on February 2 and Scranton on February 6 before coming home to Johnston Hall to host Goucher on February 9 for Senior Day. Moravian heads back on the road to Susquehanna on February 13 and Elizabethtown on February 16 to close out the regular season.

The 2019 Landmark Conference Tournament is slated to start on Wednesday, February 20 with the top two teams in the four-team field hosting semifinal games. The conference championship contest is scheduled for February 23 with the conference champion receiving an automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division III Tournament.
