BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer squad opens its 2013 season on the road at Baptist Bible College on Friday, August 30th to start an 18-match campaign this fall.
The Greyhounds are led by fifth-year Head Coach Todd Ervin, and are scheduled to play the opener at 4:00 p.m. Less than 24 hours later, Moravian will play its 2013 home opener on the HUB Quad as Lancaster Bible College comes to Bethlehem on Saturday, August 31st for a 1:00 p.m. match.
Moravian will play nine straight non-conference matches to begin the year and a total of 11 non-conference contests this season. In addition to the Lancaster Bible match, the Greyhounds will have three home weekday matches in September with Rosemont College on Wednesday, September 4th, rival Muhlenberg College on Wednesday, September 11th and Bryn Athyn College on Tuesday, September 24th. All three of those matches are set to start at 4:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad.
The Greyhounds begin their 2013 Landmark Conference schedule on Saturday, September 28th with a trip to Susquehanna University followed by a match at The Catholic University of America on Saturday, October 5th.
Moravian will play four of its final six matches of the year on the HUB Quad with Landmark Conference contests with Drew University on Saturday, October 12th, Juniata College on Saturday, October 19th and Goucher College on Saturday, November 2nd all starting at 3:30 p.m.
The 2013 Landmark Conference Tournament is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 6th with the top two seeds hosting the semifinals of the four-team tournament. The championship match will be played on Saturday, November 9th.
