Greyhounds Drop 2024-25 Opener to Immaculata

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's swimming team dropped a 99-70 decision to visiting Immaculata University to open the 2024-25 season Saturday at Liberty High School's Memorial Pool. 

How It Happened

  • Senior Harrison Ziegler won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:47.31, and he was the runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle in 57.61 seconds and 500-yard freestyle in 5:40.55
  • Freshman Lukas Groller took first in the 50-yard breaststroke in 34.75 seconds, and he finished third in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:04.19 and the 500-yard freestyle in 6:40.09
  • Freshman Daniel Leshnower placed first in the 50-yard butterfly in a time of 32.39 seconds, and he was second in the 50-yard freestyle at 28.04 seconds and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:17.70
  • Freshman Alden Zimmerman won the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:13.60, and he was second in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:12.77 and the 200-yard individual medley in 2:25.76
  • The quartet was second in the 200-yard medley relay in 2:02.28
