Jonathan D’Ottavio is entering his tenth season with the Moravian Cross Country/Track and Field program. He is in charge of coaching all of the throwing events for the Greyhounds and assists with the cross country teams in the fall.

In his first nine years at Moravian, D’Ottavio has coached 32 Landmark event champions, six school record holders, four Landmark record holders, four Landmark Field Athlete of the Year winners, three Landmark senior scholar-athletes, and one Doug Pollard MVP award winner.

Prior to joining Moravian, D’Ottavio assisted his alma mater, Lock Haven University for one season. D’Ottavio coached two male athletes in the hammer throw at the 2013 Division II Outdoor Championships to 19th and 20th place finishes respectively.

D’Ottavio is a 2013 graduate of Lock Haven with a degree in Secondary Education and a 2017 graduate of Moravian with a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics. He has also furthered his track and field education with Level I certifications from the USTFCCCA and USATF. D’Ottavio also holds a USTFCCCA Strength and Conditioning certification as well as a Level II certification in Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays.
