37 Moravian Student-Athletes Named to Landmark Spring Academic Honor RollJune 28, 2012MADISON, N.J. --- The Landmark Conference has recognized 310 student-athletes including 37 from Moravian College by selecting them for the 2012 Spring Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. The honorees were selected from all eight Landmark Conference institutions.

Moravian Honors Senior Student-Athletes; Close & Schaffer Named Athletes of the Year; Feldmann & Rock Honored as Blue & Grey Scholar-Athletes & Bishop Wins Gillespie AwardMay 09, 2012BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College honored its 2012 senior student-athletes at its annual Senior Athletics Awards Banquet Wednesday night in Johnston Hall. Women’s track & field standout Abigail Schaffer was named the Outstanding Senior Female Athlete while baseball pitcher Brendan Close was honored with the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award. The Blue & Grey Scholar Athlete awards were presented to women’s soccer student-athlete Diana Feldmann and baseball player Austin Rock. The H.T.D. Gillespie Award for outstanding service to Moravian’s athletics program was presented to Ray Bishop ’81.

Moravian Taking Part in NCAA Division III WeekApril 11, 2012BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College is joining with schools across the country in celebration of NCAA Division III Week, which officially began on Monday and runs through Saturday, April 15th. This year’s inaugural event will celebrate student-athletes’ academic achievements and athletic accomplishments, in addition to their campus leadership and their involvement in community service.
