BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's lacrosse team begins its 2024 season on Wednesday, February 21 with a non-conference match at rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Allentown.
The Hounds will host The College of New Jersey on Saturday, February 24 on John Makuvek Field before heading South to face NAIA powerhouse Savannah College of Art & Design in Georgia on Tuesday, February 27 as part of the squad's Spring Break trip. The Greyhounds finish the week with a home match versus Widener University on Saturday, March 2.
Moravian makes a trip to the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York on Saturday, March 9 before hosting Cabrini University on Wednesday, March 13. The Hounds close out their non-conference schedule on Wednesday, March 20 with a trip to FDU-Florham. The Greyhounds play their first two Landmark Conference matches of the year on the road with contests at conference newcomer Wilkes University on Saturday, March 23 and Susquehanna University on Thursday, March 28.
The Blue & Grey begin April with a three-match homestand as the squad hosts Goucher College on Wednesday, April 3, Juniata College on Saturday, April 6 and Elizabethtown College on Wednesday, April 10 on Makuvek Field. Moravian has trips scheduled to The Catholic University of America on Saturday, April 13 and Drew University on Wednesday, April 17 before finishing the season at home with contests versus Landmark Conference newcomer Lycoming College on Saturday, April 20 and The University of Scranton on Saturday, April 27.
The 2024 Landmark Conference Tournament is slated to start on Tuesday, April 30 with third and fourth seeds hosting the fifth and sixth seeds in the First Round, and then the first and second seeds will host the Semifinal matches on Thursday, May 2. The championship match will be played at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, May 4 with the conference champion receiving an automatic berth to the 2024 NCAA Division III Tournament.
