BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's cross country squad ran in the White 6K race, the final collegiate race of the day at the annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University. 

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds were tenth of 36 teams in the White 6K with a team total of 338
  • Junior Amber Poniktera led the Hounds with a 32nd place finish among the 364 runners in the white section, the third of the three scored races after the open race to start the day, and Poniktera recorded a time of 23:42.4
  • Sophomore Tara Smurla was seven spots back in a time of 23:51.2 while junior Rachael Goodman took 48th in 24:00.7
  • Rounding out the top five scorers for Moravian were sophomore Meghan Myers in 110th with a time of 25:03.4 and sophomore Grace Tirabassi nine spots back in 25:12.1
