Mark Fleming is in his 27th year as Director of Athletic Communications at Moravian University. His main duties at Moravian include promoting each of Moravian's 23 athletic programs.

Prior to working at Moravian, Fleming served one year as assistant sports information director for Bentley College and the Northeast-10 Conference.

A 1994 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in speech communications and a minor in journalism, Fleming entered the sports information field as a student in 1990. He received a master's degree in Health and Physical Education with a concentration in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in May of 1997.

While at East Stroudsburg, Fleming worked as a graduate assistant in the sports information office.

Fleming is a member of the College Sports Information Directors Association of America and the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference-Sports Information Directors Association, and he served a three-year term on the College Sports Information Directors of America Board of Directors from June 2011 until June 2014. He also served a three-year term as the chair of CoSIDA's College Division Management Advisory Committee in June 2014 through 2017.

Fleming finished a four-year term as the Chair for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame in 2022 and continues to work with the committee and is a former member CoSIDA Academic All-America Committee, which he joined in 1996, and the DIII Sports Information Directors Board as the Communications Director since its inception in 2009. He served as the initial chair of the Landmark Conference Sports Information Directors Committee from 2007-09 and served as the committee's chair in 2018-21.

In June 2013, Fleming was awarded the Lester Jordan Award by CoSIDA for exemplary service to the Academic All-America program and the promotion of the ideals of being a student-athlete. In 2014, he won a District 2 Award in CoSIDA's Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest for his Athlete Profile on Libario Obeid, and in 2015, he won the District 2 Award for his Coach/Administrator Profile on Dawn Ketterman-Benner. In June 2021, Fleming was selected for induction into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame, and in June 2022, he was received the CoSIDA President's Award. He was honored in June 2023 with the 25-year Award from the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA).
