Farrell, Greyhound Men Win Juniata Invitational

ALTOONA, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country team won the Juniata College Invitational Saturday as sophomore Dillon Farrell placed first individually on the course at the Fort Roberdeau Historic Site in Altoona Saturday.

The Moravian men scored 53 points, finishing one point ahead of Susquehanna University and 12 points in front of Keystone College on the course that will be used for the 2012 Landmark Conference Championship race on October 27th.  

Farrell completed the 8,000-meter course for the men in a time of 26:18.60 to lead the field of 78 runners.  Senior Dylan Marton took sixth overall in 27:16.40 while senior Donnie Noble was tenth in a time of 26:35.00.  Sophomore Alec Duncan finished 11th in 27:35.80 while senior Jake Donchez rounded out Moravian's top five with a 30th place in a time of 28:43.60.  Freshman Maxwell Korten was 53rd in the race for the Greyhounds in 30:19.70 while freshman Jeremy Rigotti was 56th in 30:45.50 and junior Samuel Ansman finished 78th in 38:35.50 to finish out the Greyhounds' runners.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Friday, September 28th at the 39th Annual Brooks Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
