PRINCETON, N.J. --- Sophomore Dillon Farrell placed 17th at the Princeton University Invitational to lead the Moravian College men's cross country team Saturday.

The Greyhounds were 22nd of 24 teams with a team score of 552. St. Joseph's University won the meet with a score of 46 points while Harvard University was second at 110 points.

Farrell was 17th of 212 runners on the 8,000-meter course and the fourth non-NCAA Division I runner to finish the race, turning in a season-best time of 24:44, that also took 40 seconds off of the Moravian school record for an 8,000-meter cross country run.

Senior Donnie Noble placed 113th in a time of 25:48 while sophomore Alec Duncan was 158th in 26:30. Six of Moravian's seven runners set season-best times in the race with Marton just missing a season-best time by four seconds.

Moravian's next scheduled race is the 2012 Landmark Conference Championships that will be hosted by Juniata College on Saturday, October 29th at the Fort Roberdeau Historic Site in Altoona as the Greyhounds look to defend their conference title.
