Greyhounds Compete in First Day of Ranger Invitational

MADISON, N.J. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team competed in the first two sessions of the Ranger Invitational at Drew University Friday scoring one point.

How It Happened

  • Junior Sarah Mazzetti finished ninth in the 400-yard individual medley with a school record time of 5:35.27
  • Freshman Mia Espinal swam a personal-best time of 2:34.65 in the 200-yard freestyle to place eighth and score the Greyhounds' point for the opening day. She also had a PR time of 6:58.03 in the 500-yard freestyle to finish in 13th place
  • Junior Catie Lovett tied 11th in the 50-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 26.04 seconds, third fastest in program history
