Greyhounds Compete in Opening Day of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field team had a pair of relay squads compete on the opening day of the Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field Thursday.

The quartet of freshmen Anna Osman, Maike Krischer and Tamara Suchan and sophomore Monica Richardson finished fifth in the 4x400 Centennial/MAC race in a time of 4:12.23.

In the College Women's 4x100 relay, seniors Christelle Reglas, Meghan Newman and Corinne Glass and freshman Amari Schooler combined for a time of 50.03 seconds.

Moravian will have a small contingent of competitors at the Penn Relays on Friday, April 29, and the Greyhounds will also compete in the hammer throw on the opening day of the Lehigh University Games.
