Senior Cadee Rockwell Earns Landmark Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for 5th Straight Week

MADISON, N.J. – Senior Cadee Rockwell (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson West Lawn) of the Moravian College women's cross country team was named the Landmark Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week of October 31st. This is the fifth straight week Rockwell has received this honor.

Rockwell captured her first Landmark individual title while helping the Greyhounds to the Landmark Championship this past weekend. She finished first in a cold, snowy race while running the 6K in a 24:12 to win by 26 seconds. Rockwell was also named Runner of the Year for the Landmark Conference.

Rockwell's best time this season in the 6K is a 22:04.70, which she ran at the Lafayette College Leopard Invitational.

The Greyhounds run again on Saturday, November 12th at the 2011 NCAA Division III Mideast Region Championship at DeSales University, with Rockwell looking for a second straight berth in the NCAA Division III National Championships on November 19th. The race is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
