Senior Cadee Rockwell Named to USTFCCCA Division III All-Academic Team

NEW ORLEANS, LA --- Senior Cadee Rockwell (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson West Lawn HS) of the Moravian College women's cross country teams has been named to the 2011 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III All-Academic Cross Country Team announced Friday.

Rockwell is one of 183 student-athletes from 96 NCAA Division III institutions to win the award.  The USTFCCCA honors Division III individuals for their academic and athletic achievements during the cross country.  To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 through the most recent semester and have placed in the top 35 at the NCAA Regional Championships.

Rockwell, who was also on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team after the 2010 season as well, was named the 2011 Landmark Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year and earned a spot on the Landmark All-Conference First Team after winning the 2011 Landmark Conference Championship hosted by Moravian.  She then earned All-Region honors with a 22nd place finish at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional hosted by DeSales University. 

Rockwell, who is a two-time member of the Landmark Conference Fall All-Academic Team, is a five-time member of the Dean's List, and she has a dual major in psychology and studio art.  Rockwell was also on the 2010 Landmark All-Conference First Team while earning All-Region honors and participating in the NCAA Division III Championship meet.
