INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomore goalie Andrea Eck (Catasauqua, PA/Catasauqua) of the Moravian College field hockey team is ranked in the latest NCAA Division III field hockey statistics released Tuesday. Eck is ranked 36th in goal against average with a 1.54.
Eck recently finished her 2011 campaign in goal, in which she started every game, and logged 1156 minutes. She finished with nine wins and four shutouts. She also had a .774 save percentage with 89 saves made.
As a team Moravian is ranked 21st in shutouts per game with 0.38, 33rd in goals against average at 1.47 and 43rd in save percentage at .791.
The Greyhounds finished 9-8 this season, recording the second most wins in program history. This is the eighth time in program history the team has eclipsed nine wins and the second time under Head Coach Amy Endler.
