Andrea Eck Named Landmark Conference Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week

MADISON, N.J. --- Sophomore goalie Andrea Eck (Catasauqua, Pa./Catasauqua HS) of the Moravian College field hockey team has been named the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Eck opened the season with a pair of shutouts to lead Moravian to a 2-0 record. Eck had four saves in a 1-0 win over DeSales University, and then she made one save in a 2-0 win at Marywood University. Eck has won three career matches in goal for the Greyhounds, all by shutout.

Moravian, which is 2-0 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 7th in a non-conference match versus rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Betty Prince Field.
