Kevin Kunkle '18 selected as Landmark Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week.

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College senior Kevin Kunkle has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Kunkle averaged 77.0 strokes per round last week over three tournaments as he helped the Greyhounds win two of the outings. Kunkle started the week last Monday with the Hounds' best round at the Lebanon Valley College Fall Dutchman Invitational, where the team placed sixth of 17 teams, with a five-over par score of 77, which tied him for 17th of the 83 golfers on the Lebanon Country Club course.

Last Thursday, Kunkle shot a 79 in the Moravian Fall Invitational at the Southmoore Golf Course as the Greyhounds took home the team title. His round included two birdies and eight pars while finishing in a tie for seventh of 59 golfers. Kunkle finished the week with medalist honors after a four over par round of 75 at the Landmark Conference Fall Invitational hosted by the University of Scranton as the Hounds won by seven strokes.

"Kevin has been working hard this fall and has come out with a much better attitude so it was nice to see him play a really solid round of golf," stated Head Coach Kevin Edwards.

The Greyhounds are back on the course on Monday, October 2 in the Muhlenberg College Invitational being played at the Lehigh Country Club.
