Greyhounds Place Eighth in Ursinus College Spring Invitational

ELVERSON, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team finished eighth of 15 teams at the Urinsus College Spring Invitational played at the Stonewall Golf Club.

The Greyhounds had a team score of 335 while playing on the Stonewall North course, and for the second straight tournament this spring, freshman Victor Tavares was the Hounds' top performer as he finished in a tie for 20th of the 80 golfers with a round of 80 on the par 70 course. Senior Matt Miksiewicz and juniors Kody Long and Joe Rochelle were all tied for 43rd with rounds of 85 while freshman Kody Kolnik was tied for 59th with an 89.

The Greyhounds are set to return to action on Thursday, April 12 when they host the Moravian Spring Invitational at Southmoore Golf Course in Bath with tee off set for 12:30 p.m.
